Hello My Name Is? Verse of the Week Announcement

Hello.   My name is Rachel and I am delighted to welcome you all to the first week of a new series of Mummy Meditations.  If you haven’t had a chance to take a look around the new website yet then do that now – you’ll find lots more about the heart behind this.

This new ten week series is going to give us the opportunity to step into the shoes of some of the lesser known women in the bible – the unnamed women.  I find it fascinating that there are so many women who were important enough to have their stories mentioned, but not important enough to receive a name in that retelling. So that is what we are going to be digging deeper in.

If this is your first time doing Mummy Meditations, then do check out our “about” page for more information of how to get stuck in.  You can also check out the different ways that we can support you in this and make sure you get the most out of this way of studying the bible on the “sign up” page.

THIS WEEKS VERSE

So to get us started, we will first be studying Lot’s Wife.  I am sure we all know the general story, but the verse we will be meditating on first is this one:

“When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”  Genesis 19:16-17

Let me encourage you to write this somewhere you can see it, and to maybe order either our physical or digital pack of resources created especially for this series:

DIGITAL KIT – printable downloads including workbook for this series, bookmarks, and verse of the week poster

PHYSICAL KIT – printed copy of the workbook, verse of the week cards and bible journaling extras.
